Portola is proud to offer a wide range of Zero to Low VOC water-based traditional house paints and specialty finishes:

• Portola’s Lime Wash is a traditional lime-based finish. This natural brush-applied coating dries to create a beautiful weathered patina with subtle movement and natural color variation that softens and streaks with age. This organic and highly breathable finish makes Lime Wash ideal for historic restorations, interior and exterior masonry and drywall applications.
• Portola’s Roman Clay is an eco-friendly plaster finish ideal for smooth interior walls. Applied using a putty knife, Roman Clay provides a versatile finish able to achieve a wide range of stone, stucco and marble-like effects, making it a perfect fit in both traditional and contemporary settings.
• Introduce a pearlescent glow to any interior. Portola’s Royal Satin adds the rich luster of satin fabrics, provides soft texture with visible brush strokes, and can add a delicate pearly shimmer to interior walls, trim, moulding and accessories.
• Create the natural green patina of antiquated copper by using Portola’s Coppersmith finish with Patina Solution. This water based paint contains actual copper particles to ensure a beautiful true copper finish. Any object or surface, interior or exterior, can be instantly transformed to look like established copper with the patina of age.
• Achieve an authentic oxidized iron effect on any paintable surface with Portola’s Wrought Iron and Rust Solution. This water based paint contains real metal particles that will tarnish naturally over time when exposed to the elements. Portola’s Rust Solution will speed up the oxidation process to create an organic weathered look.
